Allen Eisenman, is a Central Florida professional country & bluegrass musician played with the, Allen Bros Band, Red Allen, Big Timber Band, Vernon McIntyre's Appalachian Grass, and Earl Taylor on the Bluegrass Festival Circuit in the 70's and early 80's. He was a Staff Musician and member of Handpicked for Walt Disney World from 1982 until 1984. More recently, from 2001 thru 2010, Allen has performed on fiddle, banjo, and mandolin with various Florida based country & bluegrass bands that have opened or headlined with national acts at outdoor concerts and festivals as well as entertainment and theme park venues throughout Florida and the Southeast.
Allen currently performs with his own Bluegrass band, Code BLU and with the Palmetto Ramblers Bluegrass band at local and regional festivals, shows and events.
Some of Allen's favorite musicians include: Benny Martin, Jimmy Martin, J.D Crowe, Scotty Stoneman, Sonny and Bob Osborne , Bill Emerson, Flatt and Scruggs, Bill Monroe, Dale Potter, Vassar Clements, Bob Wills, and Johnny Gimble....just to name a few.
Allen teaches fiddle, banjo, and mandolin, from his home in Longwood, Florida and by webcam, live over the Internet. When he's not pickin' or teachin', Allen is a computer consultant and technician for his own company, PC Service, Inc.
Allen is married to Linda and have a teenaged son , Neil, who plays banjo, guitar and bass. Curly the parrot and Toschi and Scruggs, their dogs, make up the rest of the Eisenman family.
